Keep Every Stakeholder Informed with Aerial Progress Reports

Construction projects generate complexity that is difficult to communicate through ground-level photos alone. Our scheduled aerial progress documentation gives project managers, investors, lenders, and municipal reviewers a clear bird's-eye view of site activity at every milestone. Weekly, biweekly, or monthly flights provide a consistent visual timeline that tracks earthwork, foundation, framing, roofing, and site improvements as they unfold.

Each flight is captured from standardized altitudes and angles so that images from different dates can be compared directly. This consistency makes it simple to verify work completed between pay applications, identify schedule delays early, and create compelling visual reports for stakeholders who are not on-site every day. We serve general contractors, developers, and owner representatives throughout Orlando, Kissimmee, Sanford, Clermont, and surrounding Central Florida communities.

  • Scheduled weekly, biweekly, or monthly flights
  • Standardized altitudes and angles for direct comparison
  • Timestamped and GPS-tagged imagery for every flight
  • Ideal for pay application verification and lender updates
  • Volume discounts for recurring construction clients

Orthomosaic Maps & 3D Site Models

Our drone mapping workflow goes beyond simple photographs. Using overlapping aerial imagery processed through photogrammetry software, we generate high-accuracy orthomosaic maps that stitch hundreds of photos into a single, georeferenced, measurable image of your entire site. These orthomosaics allow you to measure distances, calculate areas, and overlay CAD drawings directly onto current site conditions.

For projects that require depth and elevation data, we produce 3D point clouds and textured mesh models that visualize terrain, structures, and stockpiles in three dimensions. These deliverables integrate with tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other BIM platforms your team already uses.

  • Georeferenced orthomosaic maps from drone imagery
  • 3D point cloud and textured mesh generation
  • Volumetric calculations for stockpiles and excavation
  • CAD and BIM integration (AutoCAD, Civil 3D compatible)
  • Elevation models and contour mapping

Stockpile Measurement & Volumetric Calculations

Accurate material volumes are essential for cost control, billing verification, and inventory management on construction and mining sites. Traditional ground surveys of stockpiles are time-consuming and can be inaccurate due to irregular shapes. Our drone-based volumetric analysis captures the entire surface of a stockpile in minutes, producing measurements with accuracy levels that meet or exceed conventional methods.

We regularly provide volumetric reports for aggregate yards, fill dirt operations, mulch suppliers, and demolition contractors throughout Central Florida. Each report includes cut-and-fill volumes, surface area calculations, and visual overlays that clearly communicate material quantities to project teams and accounting departments.

  • Stockpile volume measurement with high accuracy
  • Cut-and-fill analysis for grading projects
  • Material inventory tracking over time
  • Visual reports with annotated volume overlays
  • Faster and safer than traditional ground surveys

Construction Mapping Questions

Common questions about drone mapping and progress documentation for construction projects.

Our orthomosaic maps achieve horizontal accuracy within 1 to 3 centimeters when ground control points are used, and within 5 to 10 centimeters using onboard GPS alone. This level of precision is suitable for progress documentation, site planning, and volumetric calculations on most construction projects.
Most of our construction clients schedule flights on a weekly or biweekly basis during active phases of work. Monthly flights work well for longer-term projects or phases with slower visible progress. We can adjust the schedule to align with pay application cycles or milestone reviews.
Yes. We deliver orthomosaics, point clouds, and elevation models in standard formats including GeoTIFF, LAS, OBJ, and DXF that are compatible with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, and other common construction software platforms. We can also provide KML files for Google Earth viewing.
We coordinate with your site superintendent or project manager to schedule flights during appropriate times. We need a safe launch and landing area on or near the site. All flights are conducted by FAA Part 107 licensed pilots with full liability insurance, and we follow all OSHA site safety protocols including required PPE.
Standard progress photos are delivered within 24 hours. Orthomosaic maps and 3D models require additional processing time and are typically delivered within 2 to 5 business days depending on site size and complexity. Rush processing is available for time-sensitive deliverables.
